The event tests and answer keys from the Virginia Regional Tournaments are posted below to enhance the opportunities for students to learn from their tournament experiences. Feedback is always appreciated but Tournament Directors and the SO Board are not in a position to answer detailed questions about the 30 distinct events that were run by our highly appreciated event writing volunteers.

Please keep in mind that expectations set by the SO National organization are that Regional-Level tests are intentionally somewhat less rigorous than State-Level tests, which are in turn less rigorous than the National-Level tournament tests. Furthermore, for many events there are additional topic areas or depths within topic areas specified for the different level of tournaments. Please remind your teams, and any event writers for the State tournament, to consider this in their preparations.
